Implementing a transparent policy

All our efforts are formulated in a CSR policy plan based on indicator factors. An important part of a well-functioning policy is continuously informing clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and employees about the progress of the improvement process and their contribution to it. Our company aims not only to offer a competitive price but also to find the optimal balance between price, quality, and sustainability. We achieve this by structuring our production process as sustainably as possible by combating emissions.

CSR Policy Plan 2025

Reduction of CO2

Transparency and ambition in addressing the negative external effects of our business operations.

Bottelier strives to keep the impact on the climate as low as possible.

Based on the footprint for 2013 (base year), we have set targets to reduce our CO₂ emissions. As a result, we will not only work and produce even more cleanly, but the reduction also leads to more efficient business operations.

The objectives are included in the CO₂ policy plan.

Sustainable innovation

Our operators are trained according to the principles of 'the new way of running'. This method ensures fewer wasted engine hours through the use of a start-stop system and helps operators manage their fuel consumption.

We have sustainable break facilities. We use solar energy for this. In addition to protecting the environment, we also reduce nuisance by eliminating the need for loud and smelly petrol generators. We are one of the first to implement this innovation.

Bottelier uses hybrid machines. These machines are equipped with quick-change systems (OilQuik), run on AdBlue to combat emissions, and feature monitoring systems to manage maintenance. All these modern applications enable us to remain optimally productive while reducing emissions.

Our staff is trained according to the principles of 'eco-driving'. This involves shifting gears in a timely manner, causing the combustion engine to run at lower RPMs, and teaches our staff to manage their accelerator pedal so that less gas needs to be applied.

We also make every effort to take care of the surroundings of the project locations. This includes intensive dust control and the prevention of vibrations and noise pollution . But Bottelier does more. In addition to providing information, we use our social media to distribute online content. In this way, we involve the neighborhood in our project. This results in interest rather than envy from local residents. As a result, clients experience fewer complaints.

Social return on investment (SROI) is part of our business operations. Citizens facing barriers to employment are given the opportunity to gain practical work experience with us. The possibilities for SROI are coordinated with the relevant municipality for each project.
