Dismantling of polyurethane factory

For one of our regular clients, we have secured the contract for the complete cleaning, asbestos remediation, and dismantling of a polyurethane production site. All production-related installations had to be removed and disposed of, while all building-related installations had to remain in place due to the sale of the location.

Our Approach
After completing the necessary preparatory work, such as drafting the required HSE plans, TRAs, and work meetings, the project could physically commence.
The first step of the dismantling was cleaning all tanks and pipes; for this cleaning, Bottelier engaged a specialized industrial cleaning company. The second step was the removal of asbestos. Bottelier safely and professionally removed the asbestos and had the site cleared by an independent accredited laboratory. The third step was the removal of all production-related equipment and installations. In the spirit of a sustainable society Bottelier successfully marketed various assets, made possible by its extensive knowledge network within the reuse sector. The objects that could not be reused were professionally dismantled and transported to a recognized processor; at the end of the project, the entire building was delivered broom-clean. Bottelier completed this project on schedule, within budget, and with zero incidents.
