Dismantling of printing press

In Amsterdam, Bottelier has dismantled the former Telegraaf printing plant on behalf of Mediahuis.

Our Approach

Prior to disassembly, the printing towers were thoroughly cleaned, removing ink residues, oils, and other process contaminants to minimize contamination during subsequent operations.

Following the cleaning work, the pressure towers were systematically dismantled into manageable and transportable modules. A variety of tools and lifting equipment were used to bring the components to the correct transport dimensions and weights. The dismantled parts were subsequently moved from the pressure hall to the outdoor area using a pick & carry crane.

Subsequently, the parts were prepared for transport and transported to an approved processor for further processing and recycling.

Thanks to good cooperation and clear coordination throughout the entire process, all work proceeded efficiently and without incident.

The client experienced the project very positively and is extremely satisfied with both the execution and the final result. This allows us to look back on a smoothly run project that fully met expectations.

  • On time and within budget

  • Proceeding according to plan

  • No nuisance to the immediate surroundings

  • A project to look back on with pride
