Renovation of industrial boiler installations

Bottelier is proud to have successfully completed a large-scale project in Utrecht last week. Commissioned by a valued client, we carried out a challenging industrial job: the remediation and removal of multiple heavy heating boilers and associated flue gas ducts. A project that demanded craftsmanship, a well-thought-out approach, and tightly coordinated execution.

THE challenge
The installations to be removed consisted of six indoor industrial boilers, each weighing no less than approximately 40 tons. These boilers were of solid quality: robustly built and used intensively for years. It was precisely this that made the job extra challenging.
Because the boilers were located indoors and had to be removed from among other (partially operational) equipment, precision was essential. This required not only the deployment of specialized lifting and dismantling equipment, but also an experienced team accustomed to working in complex industrial environments where safety and continuity come first.
Our Approach
Prior to the commencement of the work, a detailed work plan was drawn up, in which logistics, safety, and phasing were carefully coordinated. By applying advanced techniques and collaborating closely with all involved parties, the work could be carried out efficiently and in a controlled manner, with minimal impact on the surrounding environment.
The project has been completed on schedule and to the full satisfaction of the client. With this successful delivery Bottelier once again underscores its expertise in the remediation and removal of heavy industrial installations, even under complex and challenging circumstances.
