How we work

Safety first

Whether it concerns demolition, dismantling, asbestos removal, or cleaning, safety comes first at Bottelier . To ensure safety on our projects, we work with a comprehensive safety system consisting of, among other things, internal training, safety route plans, and task-risk analyses. At Bottelier , we ensure that personnel are always equipped with the correct personal protective equipment, such as fire-resistant coveralls, helmets, hearing protection, safety boots, and safety glasses. Project-specific protective equipment, such as respiratory protection, fall protection, etc., will be determined prior to the project through a task-risk analysis.

Careful demolition is important because hazardous substances such as asbestos, chromium VI, and naturally occurring radioactive materials (NORM) may be present in and around the work site. Bottelier provides a customized plan of approach, including TRA, LMRA, toolbox talks, etc.

The sorting of incoming materials is aimed at maximizing the preservation and enhancement of their value. By carefully separating and sorting materials into homogeneous sub-streams, value-enhancing sub-streams are created that are suitable for reuse, recycling, or high-value processing. This approach increases the yield of materials and contributes to a circular and sustainable chain.
